FEATURED BRAND: INTERIOR DEFINE

by IT-Geeks

Buying new furniture to redecorate your home can cost a small fortune, but it doesn’t have to. While many of us dream of splurging on top of the line designer items for every room in our home, it just isn’t feasible.

At Batch, we pride ourselves in helping our customers find the right balance of mixing top of the line items with less expensive pieces. We understand that the secret to having a beautiful looking home without breaking the bank is discovering brands that provide high-quality designs that are comfortable, timeless, and best of all, affordable.

That’s why for our first batch we decided to partner with Interior Define, a company that has pioneered a new concept in custom furniture by creating pieces that are thoughtfully designed, well-crafted, fairly priced and made-to-order.

Gone are the days of aimlessly flipping through furniture catalogs looking for the perfect sofa that matches your style. With Interior Define, you have the unique opportunity of creating a customized sofa that fits your needs – whether you’re all about creating a luxurious space, constructing a comfortable corner or in need of something more durable for kids and pets. With thousands of different styles, sizes, and fabric swatches to choose from, the possibilities in building your personalized sofa from scratch are endless with Interior Define.

To help give you some major sofa inspo, our team rounded up the best designs shared by Interior Define customers on Instagram. Each piece featured is versatile enough to fit every style, and we’re here to show you how.

Look #1: The White Sofa

A white couch is the perfect blank canvas when decorating because the look is clean and crisp. You can go bold and add colorful accents around your white sofa – like a beautiful French Yellow velvet chair, multi-colored pillows, or boldly patterned drapes. We love the idea of mixing hard metals, like gold, silver and brass with white as it adds a modern and luxurious touch, so don’t be afraid to mix-and-match these materials around your sofa.

The important thing to note when decorating with a white couch is not to add too many colors and stick to 3-4 you really like. Doing so will help you can create an elegant theme without being too overbearing.

A few of our favorites white sofas from Interior Define are the Maxwell Slipcovered Sofa, Rose Fabric Sofa and the Alice by Alison Victoria Club Chair.

Look #2: Hotel-esque Master Bedroom

There’s nothing more relaxing than checking into a super chic hotel where the decor is both calming and refreshing. But, there’s no sense to wait until your next vacation to feel relaxed when you can have that look and feel every day in your own bedroom.

The bedrooms that often make you feel the most revitalized are very simple in design, but still have unique qualities that make them stand out. Keep your bedding minimal – with a white or cream duvet, accent pillows, and a plush throw – to leave room for you to have fun with your headboard and rug.

For your headboard, you can go for a classic fabric like a cross or pebble weave, or be a little daring and opt in for sateen or velvet (our personal favorite!). While picking the texture of your fabric is one thing, deciding on the color is something else! We recommend keeping the tones cool with Sapphire, Quartz or Elephant Gray, and then get a rug that mixes that cool tone with other warmer ones.

We’re currently lusting after Interior Define’s Harper and Oliver beds.

One thing you can’t forget to complete your hotel-esque bedroom is an armchair for the corner of your room or a bench at the end of your bed. Having extra seating in your bedroom is essential to complete any look you’re going for. For the extra seating, choose a different textured fabric than your headboard, so everything isn’t too matchy-matchy. Plus, mixing and matching different textures gives your room a warm, cozy vibe.

Look #3: A Durable and Elegant Family Room

Whoever said you can’t have nice things when you have pets or kids was mistaken. There are plenty of ways to decorate your home that not only look elegant but are durable for everyday use.

So how do you find that balance?

By choosing durable furniture and pairing it alongside beautiful accessories.

When you’re picking your sofa and lounge chairs, be sure to pick something that’s family friendly – both in style and fabric. Materials that can withstand most wear and tear are velvet, leather and performance felt (we’d recommend a darker fabric to avoid stains) – so no matter how many kids or furry friends you have, you can sleep well at night knowing your furniture is safe.

Once your family furniture is all picked out, it’s time to pick accessories that make your room look and feel like a million bucks. Our favorite way to spice up any room is to play with lighting, including working in statement lamps, wall fixtures and chandeliers. Not only are they practical, but also everything from the contrast in light created to the fixtures themselves can help elevate the look of any room. To complete your room, we’d also recommend a large shaggy rug, ceiling high curtains, and large woven baskets to store toys and blankets.

The most family friendly pieces from Interior Define we love are the Henry Sofa, Walters Leather Sofa, and the Sloan Accent Chair.

Look #4: Bold & Blue

There’s nothing more sophisticated than a deep blue couch, and Interior Define’s Oxford Blue Ms. Chesterfield fabric sofa and ottoman have us blue with envy.

While many people stay away from bright and bold colors for their living spaces, we believe they are quintessential in creating a regal room.

The color blue is the perfect combination of a luxe look that is both welcoming and pleasing to the eye, and best of all, because it can be paired well with any other color we like to consider it neutral. Blues also work well against other materials, including any shade of metallic finishes and woodwork. Plus, nowadays bold colors don’t need to only be used as accents, but rather in one larger statement piece.

Trust us when we say a blue velvet sofa will create a pretty irresistible looking space.
