Showcase Project Manager

Batch strives to be a pioneer in retail, blazing the trail in a whole new format of contextual commerce. In addition to operating retail stores, we design Showcases, staged residential interiors across all areas of the real estate industry. Batch Showcases are shoppable home environments where all of the furnishings are merchandised and sold just as they would in a retail store.

Batch is looking for a high-performing professional who is ready to be our first Showcase Project Manager. You will plays a key role in the growth of the Showcase business by facilitating flawless execution of planning, procurement and installation, as well as by fostering positive client relationships. The role requires a detail, organizational and operations oriented individual with proven success in managing a multitude of projects in parallel, while planning forward for operational scale. The Project Manager must have the ability to problem solve, manage a portfolio of contractors and vendors, flex around changing project schedules and lead decision making when working in the field. In addition, you’ll be responsible for developing sales and marketing collateral for each Showcase location, including a printed and digital product catalog, pricing sheets for broker partners, and website featurettes. The job is based in San Francisco, with field work around the Bay Area when doing project installations.

  • Inventory management

  • Installation and styling at Batch home staging projects

  • Organization and maintenance of Batch storage unit

  • Light floor plan modeling

  • Development of Sales & Marketing collateral

  • Contractor and Vendor procurement and management

  • Sourcing, implementation and management of Inventory and Project Management tools

  • Perform other duties as required


  • 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in logistics, real estate, or interior design.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Expert knowledge in project management tools

  • Strong sensibility for interior design and styling

  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

  • Great eye for design and style, with a strong awareness of current trends and ability to think outside of the box when it comes to sourcing new furnishings

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in complicated or unanticipated scenarios

  • Ability to be agile, operating with a sense of urgency, deal with change, and demonstrate flexibility in ambiguous situations with good judgment and confidence

  • Ability to process a vast amount of information and understand and prioritize competing business needs

  • Proficient in online project management and CRM tools
