Some call him Capi but we couldn't get over his most-fitting surname. This 42-yr old salon owner is our real Mr. "Batchelor." Hailing from Oakland, he calls the Grandlake neighborhood his favorite for the "diversity" and when the San Francisco fog moistens the air with a chill, you'll find him in his denim jacket.
Most days start with a morning shave, and Capriece counts his favorite item at home his "butcher block." The last place he got his passport stamped was Mexico City and count him in to show visiting friends a great time at his local restaurants and bars in Oakland.
Growing up in Milwaukee, Capriece struggled to find stylists to tame his coarse, curly hair. With nearly 25 years of experience, he created Culture of Hair Salon in San Francisco with business and life partner Sarah Len. Their two kids give Capriece the "cool dad" status. With a career that requires long days of standing, his usual footwear choice is sneakers, and for everything else, Mr. Batchelor prefers a style that's "classic, urban, and casual."
