Batch Behind the Scenes: A Peek Into Our New Office
There’s no denying that today’s startups and companies alike have stepped up their game when it comes to building and designing workspaces that encourage creativity, collaboration and productivity.
While the bar has been set fairly high, when it came to constructing our own space, it was important for us to build an environment that not only effectively spurred inspiration and facilitated efficiency, but evoked elements of our Batch brand.
Here’s a look at how we did it:
We focused on creating a clean, minimalist workspace, sticking to a neutral color pallet that enabled us to bring in elements of texture and splashes of color, without overwhelming the room.
Large drafting tables were brought in to create the perfect locale for team members to use for independent work, large projects or team meetings.
Our marble table adds a touch of sophistication to the room and is an ideal spot for presentations or intimate meetings. The modern base and sleek tabletop provide an interesting juxtaposition to the raw walnut window panels and distressed brick walls - both of which are remaining elements from the building's days as a firehouse.
We transformed a second closet into a phone and personal office room, pulling in the same neutral color pallet, while adding personality with Kristi Kohut wallpaper, a bistro chair and our favorite decor books.
We elevated our shelving piece with live plants, decorative bowls and some of our favorite grabs from the Showroom floor - including our Batch candles and literature.
The piece de-resistance, our powder room, features Spanish tile, which was discovered and hand-selected by our founder on a trip to Spain over the summer. A large brass-framed mirror adds a modern touch to the space and pairs well with the lux bath and body items by one of our favorite botanical beauty brands, Grown Alchemist.
