Associate Showroom Manager
Location: New York, NY

Batch is looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about redefining the retail business model as we grow our business to NYC. We partner with emerging and established home and lifestyle brands that primarily operate online, acting as a hub for product discovery and brand engagement. Batch’s showroom is expertly laid out like a home, rotating merchandise every eight weeks, to continuously provide new experiences and design inspiration. Our NYC store is located in the newly appointed Hudson Yards Development, which has become a hub for retail innovation and community. It is the role of the Associate Showroom Manager to execute on all daily operational, sales and marketing needs, flawlessly weaving in Batch’s story and building our brand’s reach on the East Coast.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent Batch as the premiere destination for product discovery, assisting all customers and clients in a timely, personal and courteous manner

  • Hit weekly sales goals / targets set by our NYC General Manager

  • Act as an ambassador for 20+ brands, effectively communicating each company’s mission and having expert knowledge of every product on the showroom floor

  • Help define and refine the Batch customer experience, creating a consistent in-store service that is thoughtful and memorable

  • Assist in our visual merchandising strategy of each collection

  • Monitor daily customer engagement and brand success metrics

  • Inventory management

  • Support and grow our CRM list


ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 - 3 years of retail and sales experience, with a strong preference in interiors, lifestyle, or fashion.

  • Expert storyteller. You have the ability to engage any audience, remaining concise, confident and thoughtful.

  • Flexible schedule. This role requires weekend showroom coverage.

  • You have a pulse on current trends, and an eye for design and style.

  • Positive attitude. No task is too big or small, and everything is met with enthusiasm and tenacity.

  • Proficiency with Excel, Keynote, Google Drive, and point-of-sale systems.

  • Startup experience a plus.
